In an April letter condemning Ocean City officials, misbehaving teenagers, other car shows and the media, the car show's founder Jay Shoup wrote the event had nothing to do with Ocean City and shouldn't have been held responsible for the actions of those staying in the town who have no official connection to H2Oi.
